The NWC deeply values the time and effort you will give to help rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, release them back into their natural habitats, and educate our community. Together, we can make a difference for wildlife and our community. Our volunteer opportunities are in Caledon East, Ontario
General Volunteer Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s licence
- Must be rabies vaccinated and have an up-to-date tetanus vaccination (role-dependent)
- Must follow health and safety guidelines
- Minimum of six-month commitment with a four-hour shift per week (varies by role)
Volunteer Hours
Summer Shifts:
- Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Evening: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Winter Shifts:
- Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
