It is clear that the public needs and expects help with native wildlife. We will have opportunities to work with the public through outreach and education; and students have an opportunity to participate in these programs.

The research will contribute to the already-growing body of knowledge of the pathology of disease, conservation efforts for species-at-risk, and new methods for diagnosing and treating native species.

The community around NWC will have the best access to services, volunteer and educational opportunities.
