A young female Red Fox, likely struck by a vehicle, was found with two broken legs. Despite her injuries, she was in good health. Dr. Cox at the National Wildlife Centre performed successful orthopedic surgery, using eight pins to align the fractures. After seven weeks of recovery, X-rays confirmed her legs had healed well, allowing for the removal of pins and bandages.

Now, under the fantastic rehabilitation care of Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary, she will continue to heal and is expected to make a full recovery! Soon, she will be strong enough to return to the wild where she belongs.
