At Last!

We are delighted to share that the mute swan who had the fishing hook removed from his trachea has been released!

Following a tricky surgical procedure completed by our doctors at the National Wildlife Centre, the mute swan returned into the care of Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre where he remained until he made a full recovery.

Thank you Sandy Pines for letting our medical team be a part of his success and thank you for providing excellent care for this swan. We wish him all the best and a tackle free future!
